Re: Team v Burnley
Think we will be technically much better than Burnley. Game in which both Ayew and lanzini can excel in. That is why I would not be too bothered if I saw Ayew upfront instead oif carroll tonight.

Re: Team v Burnley
I'm with frank on this one.

Lanzini hasn't done enough this year, not been terrible but not as good as he was last year (granted this applies to all).

Ayew isn't fully fit/match fit but that's partly why I'd start him and he's more likely to score but also has the same level of work ethic as Lanzini too, just lacking the fitness/sharpness which he'll get with games.

I'd start Ayew and replace with Lanzini.

Have a feeling he might get on the scoresheet tonight.

which is why he should play to get the cunt fit imo, anyway he's been training for weeks so should be ready imo

Start Lanzini...

Replace with Ayew. 65 mins ...

Ayew not up to full speed or fitness...

Lanzini has hardly pulled up trees this season

I like the idea of 4-4-2

Re: Team v Burnley
Not necessarily how I'd have the team but I think Exile's lineup will be close to the team Bilic starts tonight. Expecting three at the back with Kouyate returning.

The only changes could be sticking with Randolph (largely due to the Henderson save after the error) and Ayew in for Lanzini.

He'll probably fool everyone and start Zaza.

Fletcher Carroll

Be nice to see a forward feed off Carrolls knock downs or lay offs

Re: Team v Burnley
I reckon it'll be Kouyate back into a back three again. I'm also hoping he'll be positive and start with Carroll. Adrian back in for me.

. Adrian
. Kouyate Reid Ogbonna
Antonio Noble Obiang Lanzini Cresswell
. Payet
. Carroll

Subs: Randolph, Collins, Nordtveit, Fernandes, Ayew, Flatcher.

Re: Team v Burnley
yeah definitely start Carroll tonight and get a good 3 points, that then takes pressure off for the Hull game and maybe bring him off the bench if we need to against them

I'd like to see this Martinez get a little run at some point, thing is Elliot Lee scored regular in the U23 didn't he ?

Coffee 5:52 Wed Dec 14
Re: Team v Burnley
Private, agree that Carroll is a must. Burnley's defence is capable of really bringing down the shutters and Carroll could do much to disrupt that strategy.

No Carroll for some? He HAS to start.

Re: Team v Burnley
Adrian's the better keeper for me, Adrian would have punched the Scouse equaliser clear and possibly the one at Spurs, not much in it and they both make bad judgements, need a better keeper than both.

Makes no sense reid will be better at centre back and Kouyate at right back

Re: Team v Burnley
Interesting lineup Marty...

Risky without Reid as CB ...but he has played at RB early in his career with us...

Worth a try at home...

Plus ...
Antonio Lanzini Obiang Noble Payet

Carroll
